OFL Terms and Policies
PRICING / BID POLICY
Outdoors for Life will bid any request by an approved Distributor.
The bid must have the end users deliver point an d be in the Distributors approved state,
or not conflicting with another pre-approved Distributors state.
Only previously established Distributors/Dealers qualify for quotations to bid Outdoors for Life products and services. Possession of a price list does not constitute an offer to sell. Outdoors for Life reserves the right to reject any order. Prices are effective January 1, 2004 and are subject to change without notice. Surcharges may be added on custom sizes and designs, and are to be sent to Outdoors for Life for quoting. Only prices quoted by OFL will be honored. Outdoors for Life reserves the right to accept or reject any order. Terms of sale are 2% 15, net 30 F.O.B. Williamston, MI, and upon prior credit approval. There are no minimum orders, however, a handling charge of $5.00 will be assessed on orders under $100. Freight will be PREPAID for shipments on orders of $3,000 or more shipped to one destination within the USA. Products can be mixed to achieve next discount level. DROP SHIP POLICY
Permissible only in the Distributor or Dealers approved State(s).
Freight charges and policies apply equally to drop shipments as shipments to Distributor's warehouse. WARRANTY POLICY
All products manufactured by Outdoors for Life,
are guaranteed against failure due to defects of workmanship for one-year from date of shipment.
Units returned within one-year will be rebuilt or replaced under the guarantee.
If deemed necessary, a report on a reason for failure, with suggestions for corrective action will accompany the returned unit.
Should the same unit be returned for a second time, a charge may or may not be made, at the discretion of Outdoors for Life.
Any parts manufactured by others and used in the manufacturing of OFL merchandise will carry the original manufactures guarantees, terms and policies associated with the part. Any claims for these parts must go through the OFL return procedure. The guaranty is void if product demonstrates misuse, abuse, or has been altered in any way. All products used with other manufacturer's equipment are to be used in accordance with the recommendations and directions from the associated equipment manufacturer, for use of this type of added support equipment. RETURN POLICY
No deductions may be made in remittance on accounts due without prior issuance by Outdoors for Life
of a credit memo to cover such deductions.
Credit will be issued for an returned orders, upon approval of OFL. Claims of shortages on sealed cartons must be filed within ten days after receipt of shipment. Claims for merchandise damaged, lost or not delivered must be filed with the carrier within ten days. Transportation charges, in all cases, will be at the customer's expense. Maximum liability is in no case to exceed the value of the OFL unit involved. Merchandise may not be returned without authorization and issuance of a Return Authorization number (RMA), to be marked on the outside of the carton. Unauthorized shipments will automatically be returned or placed in storage at the customer's expense. Returned merchandise must be returned in original packaging. No shipments will be accepted returned "Freight Collect." Where factory irregularities are found in current merchandise, then following authorized return of such merchandise, Outdoors for Life will make replacement or repair without charge, if such claims are deemed justified by OFL. The cost of freight is not covered under OFL warranty policy. Authorized returns of saleable merchandise, other than shipments made in error by OFL, will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. A 1-1/2% per month late charge will be added to all past due balances and all trade discounts and freight allowances will be disallowed. A copy of the purchase order must be included with the returned item for credit to be issued. |
